Several new Haynesville test wells going North

Southern Star's Atkins-Lincoln 17-19N-13W in the Sentell Field will go to 11000 FT and a Cotton Valley well, JH Montgomery JR., that was plugged and abandoned at a little over 8000ft in 14-21N-14W has been repermitted to 10500ft in the Cottage Grove Field. The Serial Numbers are 238612 and 238547 respectively. This is good news for all you Bentonites.

Has ther been any testing btw I - 20 and cross lake near pines road or out towards hmy 80?

Dont worry about any testing in that area you are in the fairway, the H-Shale is productive North,South,East and West of there.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
