How are our shalers doing?

I don't what to tell you. I haven't seen anybody from the Houston area shaling for awhile.
Well this was my first time preparing for a hurricane and it has been one stressful week. All the hotels booked up, people boarding up houses and trying to find a safe place for the animals and making sure our families are safe. I hope I never have to go through this again. My thoughts and prayers are with the people in Houston and Galveston. And yes some of these people are shalers.........
...and families and friends of Shalers.
Ike is supposed to visit our area this afternoon??

I think Jay (Shalegeo) is in the Woodlands, Tx. Stay safe Jay and watch out for all those trees in that area.
2;20 PM SE Shreveport-slow, steady rains this morning. Currently no rain, but strong gusts of wind. But these must not be as strong as Gustav's because my windows aren't rattling this time. Still have power.

A friend called from Carthage about an hour ago, they're doing about the same. I think the eye of the storm is just passing us (S'port.) to the west in E. TX.
