People Attending Shaler's BBQ On Saturday Please List What Your Bringing.

Don't forget, the Shaler's BBQ is this weekend Sept 27th, starting at 4:00 p.m.. As we draw closer KB and I, would like to get a list of those who can confirm they are attending and what they will bring.

Again this is the format we are using. Please bring what you are cooking on the grill and one dish like, Potatoe Salad, Corn Bread,Cake ,Pie etc. Whatever you like to eat. We will place everybody's dish on the table for all to try. Also bring any drinks you would like too. Beer is ok, but we would like to remind everybody that children will be there please don't over do it for there sake.

Take 71 south pass Taylor Town about 6 or 7 miles You will come to a blinking yellow light go past it and it will be your next right. There is a red and white sign just off the hwy that say's Clark's turn right go until the road ends. You can't miss us.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
