I was told by some employees of Tetra that the Wilcox aquafier is now down by 50%, and, the state has put a restriction on O&G using our ground water. Any insight or information anyone?

Is the Wilcox only in Texas?
I believe it drains from NE Texas to NW Louisiana and Points S. I think it takes several years to reach Caddo Parish. Im glad to hear of the frac using other sources bsides our precious ground H2O.

I am not 100% sure but I believe that I read that the Wilcox is also in South Caddo Parish also. Probably a lot larger than that even but that is the only part I remember. I believe that a couple of months ago, Chesapeake had drilled several water wells into the Wilcox for use in the wells in Keithville.

I am sure that someone else knows more than I do about this.
