I came across these two companies on the internet "actively seeking aquisitions in Lincoln an Union Parish". I have an interest in both parishes and was wondering if anyone knew if this is just standard practice for these types of companies or if things could be progressing this way?

I couldn't read the map clearly . . . is this Union or Lincoln Parish? Also, Raven Project in Ruston was considered a success and now they are moving into Union, got this from the lady who did some of the crews hair.
I too own land in Union Parish (Farmerville) and have received 2 offers in the past week to buy my families property. Have you heard anything more?
No, I've not checked into these companies because I wanted to wait and see what Petrohawk's seismic shoot renders. Also, want to know more about the Raven Project moving into Farmerville, as well. Not heard a thing else about that.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
