Barbara-----I have confirmed that a person has received and accepted 22,500 at Hunter in southern Desoto Parish . This was last week.

Most companies have maxed out, basically they will not be able to even drill half of what they have leased....Chesapeake for sure. Many people that were approached with an offer and wanted more, are now realizing that they may not be leased at all....all good things come to an end, message: Dont be even slightly greedy now, or you may gain nothing from all this. The traditional money will still be substantial made off the royalty after drilled. The success probablilty of this shale gas "comin in" is huge, so simply "get leased: or be sorry at this late stage of the game

Well you can expect about 45,000 per acre if you are around T11 R 11 but the problem is who you have to deal with to get this kind of offer.

Your right, that must be why they are doing all those stock offerings and selling off parts of their companies for cash.
