Interesting news that Mainland Resources assigned deep rights from their leasehold to Petrohawk. Check Mainland Resources website for details on their deal. Should put both companies in a strong position to compete.

MNLU Only owns the rights to a few thousand acres....this makes them no more a player than some of the large landowners in south caddo, south red river and south Bossier parishes. They are just trying to pump there stock with there small interest in the shale. 2700 acres to be exact!

Bill,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Mainland Resources in addition to holding some prime leaseholds, was also involved in exploration and production.
