I was looking at Sonris and it shows the following well (?) in 039-09N-13W.  When I clicked the bottom hole/well bore data it shows a line running into 025-09N-13W.  I have property under lease in 025-09N-13W.  Can someone explain if this is actually a well and if anyone has any info in this. Below isthe information I got from sonris.

SERIAL WELL NAME WELL NUM ORG ID FIELD PARISH PROD TYPE SEC TWN RGE EFFECTIVE DATE API NUM

Thank you.

Krystal,

I'll take a stab at answering this.  According to sonris, the surface location of this well is in 36-9-13.  But the bottom-hole location will be in 25-9-13.  [Note:  In the Scout Info, you see the letters PBHL.  That's Planned Bottom Hole Location.  The bottom hole location will be 250 feet from the north line (FNL) and 1890 feet from the West Line (FWL) of Section 25.

So yes, if you own minerals in Section 25, this will be a well that pays you.  It was permitted on August 15, 2011.  I suspect it's just a matter of time until drilling begins.  You might drive by the north line of Sec 36, and see if HK is building a pad.

Good luck for a good well.

Krystal, to add to Henry's response - you can always look at the well name as an indicator of the targeted section.  In your case the 25 after Meriwether means the well is planned to produce from Section 25.
