Yes, Cajun Exploration has been by twice on behalf of cheasapeake. I confirmed with cheasapeak that Cajun exploration does in fact represent them in Sec 5, T 14n, R14w. Offering the same $25.00 min per Acre to perform seismic survey. The rep says they would use vibrator trucks in the subdivision of North Desoto Estates (this is directly across Hwy 171from N.Desoto High in Stonewall) Also recieved same contract in mail directly from Cheasapeaks office.
I publish an online newspaper in de soto parish, which by the way, Tom Cat, is the correct way to spell De Soto. visit desotoparishtoday.com and view the picture of a seismic team from OnShore...they are in the parish now doing their work...i have however been told that it is not the gas they are surveying for...they know where that is...they are now surveying the huge deposits of oil that are beneath the shale...
Yes CCC Veritas, Red River Parish, Plot 36. I gave permission but don't guess they have done it yet.
Have they sent you a check?
Someone named Ray Parker working with CGG VERITAS came to my house with a permission form wanting to conduct the 3-D seismic survey. I gave them permission to do so. He said that I would be paid 15.00 per acre. Why all the different price ranges? This was back on July 31, 2008. Have not heard from or seen anybody since, and has not received any money. I'm in section 36 T13N-R10W
