Horrified drivers described the fiery car wreck on Wednesday that killed energy tycoon Aubrey McClendon.

Police released the 911 emergency calls from several motorists [see video above] who saw McClendon’s black Chevrolet Tahoe burst into flames after slamming into the wall of an overpass in Oklahoma City.

“There’s an underpass on Midwest Boulevard that goes under the turn...

“The accident looks pretty bad,” he said. “The car looks like it might be on fire.”

The 56-year-old founder and former CEO of Chesapeake Energy was alone in his SUV and driving at a “high rate of speed” at about 9 a.m. Wednesday when it crashed head-on into the wall, police said.

“There’s a Tahoe that is completely impacted from within,” a second man told the dispatcher. “The cab is completely crushed.”

One of those pictures looks like a bomb went off in the interior.

Up north they used to call that a "Youngstown Tune-up."

I believe he angered large numbers in the Youngstown area.
