Anadarko in Marion County

Does anyone know what Anadarko is looking for in northwest Marion county around Lake O' the Pines?  They've been in there leasing for over a year and I heard they have over 15,000 under lease and looking to get more.

Can you advise what Anadarko is paying for leases in Marion.  Per net acre and royalty. Thanks.

I hear they pay $200 per acre and 1/5th royalty for a 3 year lease that has a 2 year option.

If you work with them and have considerable acreage they will probably do a little better than the $200 and 1/5. However, don't expect mega deals. Work on the royalty at 25% and see where the bonus falls according to concessions made in other parts of your lease.  CV is the major target and they will probably just lease 100ft above and 100ft below that target zone if you won't to keep your other minerals open for future lease.

Does anyone know when and/or where Anadarko has plans to drill?  What is the "blue zone"?

Our interest is near Wilkes Plant and we did a three year lease. We were told drilling would be well within that time period. Hope this helps.

Thanks KMS Do you know what Petro Land is offering as a bonus?  Is it the same as Dixon, $200 and 20%?  How long has Petro Land been leasing for Anadarko?  I did not know anyone else was leasing for Anadarko in Marion County.
