Chesapeake, Alexander 34 #H1 Well, Serial #239761, S34-T16N-R16W
I guess there isn't any news, when it will began dilling or status other than it is permitted Is there any other sites that provide updates other tahn sonris
not really
Stephen, once spudded it should turn up on my Drilling Rig Locations group.
Sorry to keep asking, but when looking at Sonris site. How do you determine what kind of well is going to be drilled (horizontal or vertical) and if it is horizontal is that just usually one well or four together. does the permitt show the number of wells
Stephen, a review of the well permit shows a True Vertical Depth of 11250 ft and a Measured Depth of 16374 ft. This indicates the well is proposed as a horizontal because the MD is substantially greater than the TVD. Also if the well's name includes an "H" at the end (HA RA SUR;ALEXANDER 34-16-16 H) then it is proposed as a horizontal. Note - some horizontal's do not include the "H" at the end.

Each well is permitted separately so there is no indication of total number of wells in the unit.
The rumor is the pad has been completed and it is for a super pad, which i have not seen any information to know if this was factual, however they also are saying since it is a super pad it will be four wells, but my unerstanding is they should pull permints for each well right.
Stephen, that is correct - each well is permitted separately.
