Diamond Oil has drilled 3 and permitted 3 more HA wells in this field. All are vertical so they probably aren't big producers. These wells are in the 8000+ ft. range. I guess the same reason the oil is so shallow there would be why the HA zone is shallow too? Does anyone have an idea how thick the shale maybe or how good it is? Diamond has not released anything to the dnr or at least it's not on sonris yet? Do they not have the expertise or the capital to do a horizontal or are they just trying to hbp till the big boys want it?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
