If you received a letter from EnerQuest Oil & Gas LLC recently, you own minerals in the Chalybeat Springs Unit. There is an application before the AOGC, submitted by a group of mineral owners, proposing the unit be dissolved. The letter and notices state that the hearing will be Tuesday July 22nd. Due to the appointment of a Special Commissioner, the matter has been postponed until 9:AM July 23rd at the AOGC office in Eldorado. If you own minerals in the unit but did not receive the notice, it would not be a surprise. We mailed 1150 notices to the mineral owners' addresses supplied to us by EnererQuest and to date over 130 have been returned. If you did not receive the notice, you also are not being paid your royalty. Below is a link to the application.
