Could someone explain what method (formula?) is used for getting to the mineral owner portions on a division order?  Do they go by the acreage which appears on the lease, or is the land actually surveyed out?
The reason I'm asking is, there was about a 10 acre error (not in my favor) made on the lease and I am concerned that this will ultimately result in my not getting royalty income on this 10 acres.  If they do an actual survey of my unit though, it seems this acreage would be included in my share.
     Help me out please.
