Atoms Energy Corp. Mid-Tex Division will drill the V-01 Well No. 1 to 280 feet 4.8 miles southeast of Mesquite in a wildcat field in the W.W. Bruton Survey, A-160

Freestone County

The W.A. Keils Gas Unit Well No. 9 and the W.A. Keils Gas Unit Well No. 10 will be drilled by XTO Energy in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.

The No. 9 will hit 12,800 feet 3.3 miles south of Teague in the Mates Casillas Survey, A-167.

The No. 10 will hit 13,200 feet 3.4 miles south of Teague in the M. Casillas Survey, A-167. These wells may be drilled in the Teague (Travis Peak or Pettit B) Fields.

Enbridge G&P (East Texas) will drill the Aker Monitoring Well No. 1 to 7,000 feet 6.4 miles northeast of Streetman in the Aker (Woodbine H2S Disposal) Field. This well is in the L.H. Smith Survey, A-558.

Henderson County

In a lease three miles southeast of Trinidad in a wildcat field, the Bailey Faulk Well No. 1 will be drilled by Maxima to 7,800 feet in the J. Albright Survey, A-16. It may also be drilled in the South Trinidad (Rodessa) Field.

Johnson County

The Randolph Well No. 2H and the Randolph Well No. 3H will be drilled to 9,000 feet 4.6 miles northeast of Cleburne in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. These wells will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating in the J. Starrett Survey, A-776.

Devon Energy will drill three wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

  The John Edward King Well No. 20H is 10.1 miles southwest of Cleburne.

  The John Edward King Well No. 21H and the John Edward King Well No. 22H are 10.2 miles southwest of Cleburne. These wells are in the MEP&P RR Co. Survey, A-1037.

Chesapeake Operating will drill three wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

  The Deann Well No. 4H, the Deann Well No. 8H and the Deann Well No. 9H will be drilled within the city limits of Cleburne in the T. Harlow Survey, A-335.

Kaufman County

The D-42 Well No. 1 and the DD-05 Well No. 1 will be drilled in a wildcat field by Atmos Energy Corp., Mid-Tex Division. These wells will hit 280 feet.

  The D-42 Well No. 1 is 9.2 miles northeast of Kaufman in the J.B. Cole Survey, A-84.

  The DD-05 Well No. 1 is 1.6 miles northwest of Forney in the J. Gregg Survey, A-171.

Leon County

The Leone Plantation Well No. 8 will be drilled by Basa Resources to 6,500 feet 10 miles southeast of Oakwood in the Oakwood Field in the E.S. Huston Survey, A-340.

Limestone County

XTO Energy will drill the Standley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 8 and the Gibson Well No. 23 in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field.

  The No. 8 will hit 14,000 feet 6.9 miles southwest of Donie in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26.

  The No. 23 is 15.8 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the A.J. Click Survey, A-111. These wells may be drilled in the Southeast Farrar (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field.

Nacogdoches County

The Jude GU Well No. 1H will be drilled 6.5 miles northwest of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. Samson Lone Star will drill the well to 13,500 feet in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.

Panola County

Anadarko E&P will drill the CGU 12 Well No. 15 to 12,000 feet five miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field in the J.A. White Survey, A-749.

Robertson County

XTO Energy will drill the Mitchell Gas Unit III Well No. 28 to 14,100 feet 10.8 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the O. Denson Survey, A-126.

Rusk County

In a lease 11.9 miles southwest of Henderson, in the Good Springs, West (Woodbine) Field, the BSR Lacy Heirs Well No. 2 will be drilled to 3,900 feet by Barrow-Shaver Resources. This well is in the G.W. Meredith Survey, A-558 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

San Augustine County

The Hatch GU Sag Well No. 1H will be drilled to 14,000 feet 6.1 miles northeast of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. Chesapeake Operating will drill this well in the B.B. Picard Survey, A-493.

EOG Resources will drill the Zap Minerals Unit Well No. 1H in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will hit 14,500 feet 9.9 miles south of San Augustine in the C. Hearford Survey, A-17.

Tarrant County

Chesapeake Operating will drill nine wells to 9,000 in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

  The GM West Well No. 3H is .94 miles northeast of Arlington in the M. Harris Survey, A-704.

  The Colt Well No. 1H and the Colt Well No. 2H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the EMD King Survey, A-895.

  The Western Hills Well No. 13H and the Western Hills Wells No. 14H are .9 miles southwest of White Settlement in the BBB&C RR Co. Survey, A-218.

  The Vintage Well No. 1H and the Vintage Well No. 3H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the W. Stone Survey, A-1400.

  The Mortimer Well No. 3H is within the city limits of Haltom City in the G.B. Stanley Survey, A-1378.

  The Penske Well No. 4H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the W.H. Little Survey, A-945.

XTO Energy will drill three wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.

  The Diamond Hill Unit Well No. 4H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the S. Gilmore Survey, A-590.

  The Rose A Unit Well No. 7H is within the city limits of Arlington in the L.B. Ledbetter Survey, A-964.

  The Meacham Well No. W 20H will be drilled within the city limits of Fort Worth in the W.B. Tucker Survey, A-1516.

Carrizo Oil & Gas will drill five new wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

  The Lonestar Unit Well No. 7H, the Lonestar Unit Well No. 8H, the Lonestar Unit Well No. 10H, the Lonestar Unit Well No. 12H and the Lonestar Unit Well No. 13H will be drilled within the city limits of Arlington in the P. Caldwell Survey, A-364.

COMPLETIONS

Freestone County

Devon Energy completed the C.E. Neal GU B-1 Well No. 19 to 13,538 feet 5.1 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Nan-SU-Gail Field.

This well potentialed 283,000 cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

XTO Energy completed five wells.

  The Wettermark Gas Unit Well No. 4 hit 12,475 feet 2.5 miles northeast of Teague in the Teague Field and potentialed 1.337 million cubic feet of gas on a 32/64-inch choke.

  The Irvin Gas Unit Well No. 17 hit 10,793 feet 3.6 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field and potentialed 166,000 cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The H.L.&P. Gas Unit Well No. 26 hit 14,209 feet 1.6 miles southwest of Donie in the Bear Grass Field and potentialed 1.603 million cubic feet of gas on a 13/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

  The Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 35 hit 12,060 feet 5.1 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. This well potentialed 1.125 million cubic feet of gas on a 30/64-inch choke in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The H.L. & P. Gas Unit Well No. 31 hit 14,170 feet 2.3 miles southwest of Donie in the Bear Grass Field and potentialed 1.901 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

In a lease 2.1 miles northeast of Teague, in the Teague Field, the Athel Ivy Gas Unit Well No. 8 was completed by XTO Energy to 12,515 feet. The well potentialed 2.339 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

Harrison County

Anadarko E&P completed the Letourneau Gas Unit 6 Well No. 30HH to 16,972 feet 18.4 miles southwest of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.700 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.

Henderson County

XTO Energy completed the H.P. Barton Gas Unit Well No. 5 to 11,700 feet 7.8 miles southwest of Athens in the Tri-Cities Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.437 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Hill County

EOG Resources completed the Kiblinger Well No. 5H to 12,010 feet 2.9 miles of Woodbury in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.744 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Johnson County

The East Newark Field has seen Chesapeake Operating complete two new wells.

  The Little Hoss 7 Well No. H4H hit 10,312 feet 14.1 miles northwest of Cleburne and potentialed 2.446 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

  The Cooper Well No. 15H hit 9,090 feet 5.7 miles northwest of Cleburne and potentialed 2.147 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Devon Energy completed five wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Odis McGee Gas Unit Well No. 2H hit 12,794 feet 17.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.192 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Odis McGee Gas Unit Well No. 3H hit 12,806 feet 17.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.423 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Calvin Fincher Well No. 3H hit 10,805 feet 9.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 3.886 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Calvin Fincher Well No. 4H hit 11,517 feet 9.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.020 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Calvin Fincher Well No. 5H hit 12,111 feet 9.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.183 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

EOG Resources completed 11 new wells in the East Newark Field. The wells were gauged on a 64/64-inch choke.

  The Gallagher Well No. 4H hit 9,320 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 4.348 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Tolbert Well No. 8H hit 13,423 feet 3.9 miles north of Venus and potentialed 5.202 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Wolfe Well No. 5H hit 10,945 feet 5.4 miles northwest of Joshua.

  The U.S. Lime Well No. 29H hit 9,987 feet 6.1 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 2.897 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Harry Well No. 3H hit 10,482 feet .6 miles east of Godley and potentialed 2.506 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Harry Well No. 4H hit 9,248 feet .8 miles southeast of Godley and potentialed 1.978 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Dodson Well No. 6H hit 9,085 feet 4.1 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 5.723 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Dodson Well No. 7H hit 9,279 feet 4.1 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 5.754 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Richardson Well No. 2H hit 10,185 feet three miles northeast of Godley and potentialed 2.537 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Richardson Well No. 3H hit 11,033 feet three miles northeast of Godley and potentialed 4.288 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Hanna Well No. 3H hit 8,820 feet 3.2 miles northeast of Godley and potentialed 2.974 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Limestone County

On a 10/64-inch choke the Lyons Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 24 potentialed 924,000 cubic feet of gas. XTO Energy completed this well to 13,340 feet 3.8 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field. Location is Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

Panola County

Devon Energy completed the Nell Hudson Well No. 26 and No. 27 in the Carthage Field.

  The No. 26 hit 9,705 feet 5.2 miles northeast to Carthage and potentialed 1.401 million cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke.

  The No. 27 hit 9,702 feet and potentialed 1.492 million cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

On a 16/64-inch choke the Zelma Austin Well No. 2 potentialed 1.004 million cubic feet of gas. Patara Oil & Gas completed this well to 8,070 feet 12.1 miles southwest of Carthage in the Beckville Field. This well is in the Travis Peak.

Robertson County

On a 10/64-inch choke the Hoyt Gas Unit Well No. 1 potentialed 4.704 million cubic feet of gas. EnCana Oil & Gas completed the well to 18,000 feet seven miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. This well is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

XTO Energy completed the J.C. Kennedy Gas Unit Well No. 8 to 13,350 feet 13.5 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. The well potentialed 2.145 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

XTO Energy completed the Mary J. Watts Gas Unit Well No. 10 to 13,075 feet 16.8 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. This well potentialed 1.424 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Rusk County

NFR Energy completed two new wells in the Travis Peak Consolidated.

  The Paul Welch GU Well No. 1 hit 10,800 feet nine miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden Field. The well potentialed 325,000 cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke.

  The G.J. Huff GU Well No. 6 hit 11,034 feet 4.2 miles northwest of Henderson and potentialed 1.194 million cubic feet of gas on a 21/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.

On a 52/64-inch choke the Young Heirs Gas Unit Well No. 1H potentialed 6.097 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed to 15,619 feet 17.5 miles northeast of Henderson by Devon Energy in the Beckville Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Goodrich Petroleum completed the D. Ross GU Well No. 3H to 15,165 feet 10.6 miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 935,000 cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.

NFR Energy completed the Barron Pearl Well No. 4 to 11,680 feet eight miles northeast of Pone in the Minden. On a 48/64-inch choke the well flowed with 168.67 barrels of crude. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated.

San Augustine County

The Ironosa Well No. 1H is 5.1 miles northeast of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. SM Energy completed the well to 19,454 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.3324 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

XTO Energy completed three wells in the Carthage Field.

  The Lobos DU Well No. 1H hit 19,208 feet six miles northwest of San Augustine and potentialed 11.176 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch  choke.

  The Ragin Cajuns DU Well No. 1H hit 18,369 feet 5.5 miles northwest of San Augustine and potentialed 11.064 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke.

  The Coyotes DU Well No. 1H hit 17,496 feet 6.4 miles northwest of San Augustine and potentialed 11.201 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Exco Operating completed two wells in the Carthage Field.

  The Smith SU Well No. 1H hit 18,508 feet 7.5 miles northeast of Chireno. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.245 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke.

  The Dillard SU Well No. 1H hit 19,454 feet 7.5 miles northeast of Chireno and potentialed 10.733 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

On a 18/64-inch choke the Bishop Well No. 1H potentialed 11.883 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed by SM Energy to 20,050 feet 3.2 miles west of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Shelby County

XTO Energy completed the Bearcats DU Well No. 1H to 16,873 feet 3.9 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field. On a 12/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.986 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Tarrant County

Quicksilver Resources completed four wells in the East Newark Field. The wells were gauged on a .75 inch choke.

  The Blair East Unit Well No. 2H hit 14,240 feet 6.6 miles southwest of Arlington and potentialed 6.321 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Blair East Unit Well No. 3H hit 14,310 feet 6.6 miles southwest of Arlington and potentialed 6.496 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Blair East Unit Well No. 4H hit 14,425 feet 6.6 miles southwest of Arlington and potentialed 7.634 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Alliance-Cozart Well No. 4H hit 10,119 feet 2.8 miles southeast of Haslet and potentialed 1.921 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

On an open choke the Hyde-Hickman "F" Well No. 6 potentialed 2.707 million cubic feet of gas. Devon Energy completed this well to 9,425 feet 2.2 miles northwest of White Settlement in the East Newark Field. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed four wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Bogi Well No. 3H well hit 12,120 feet within the city limits of Kennedale. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 7.060 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Bozarth Well No. 1H hit 11,610 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.333 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

  The Superbowl Well No. 1H hit 13,335 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.845 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

  The Rokkas Well No. 1H hit 9,899 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.155 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

The East Newark Field has seen two new wells completed by Crow Creek Operating. The wells are located within the city limits of Fort Worth.

  The Harbour View B Well No. 5H hit 9,119 feet and potentialed 1.226 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke.

  The Harbour View B Well No. 6H hit 8,902 feet and potentialed 1.386 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Burnett Oil completed the Mercantile E Well No. 1H to 9,691 feet 4.2 miles north of Fort Worth in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.072 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Tyler County

Anadarko E&P completed the Stryker Unit Well No. 1 to 18,486 feet 1.8 miles northwest of Woodville in the Brookeland Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 13.695 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Austin Chalk, 8800.

Is there a south west Texas drilling report on the eagle ford? I am interested in the Webb, La Salle, Maverick areas.
I haven't really looked for one but I do see reports pop up on my alerts on occasion for other regions of Texas.  I will try to pay more attention to them and see if I can find one that covers the Eagle Ford on a regular basis.
