Freestone County

The John Eppes Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 13 and the Fred R. Eppes Well No. 22 will be drilled by XTO Energy in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consoli-dated) Field.

  The No. 13 will hit 13,700 feet 6.3 miles southeast of Teague in the G. Luna Survey, A-18.

  The No. 22 will hit 13,700 feet 3.6 miles northwest of Donie in the J.L. Chavert Survey, A-10.

Gregg County

The Williams GU Well No. 5H will be drilled by J-W Operating to 15,100 feet 4.1 miles northeast of Longview in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the D. Hill Survey, A-93.

Johnson County

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Falvel-E Brown (SA) Well No. 1H to 9,000 feet 4.6 miles northwest of Cleburne in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the M.J. Falvel Survey, A-269.

The Mike Peikoff Well No. 2H, Mike Peikoff Well No. 3H and Mike Peikoff Well No. 4H will be drilled by Devon Energy to 9,000 feet 14.8 miles northeast of Cleburne in the W. Hickman Survey, A-327.

Nacogdoches County

The Ruth GU 1 Well No. 7 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star to 12,000 feet seven miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the West Douglass (Travis Peak) Field. This well is in the J.H. Hyde Survey, A-249 and may be drilled in the East Nacogdoches (James Lime) Field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field, the Miyagi (Pettit) Field or a wildcat field.

Panola County

In a lease 3.5 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Sterrett Well No. 19 will be drilled by Valence Operating. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the J.N. Williams Survey, A-712 and may be drilled in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.

Anadarko E&P will drill the CGU 6 Well No. 26 to 11,000 feet 2.4 miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the S. Duncan Survey, A-158.

Robertson County

The Biggs No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 24 will be drilled 16.9 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will hit 14,100 feet in the R.M. Williamson Survey, A-362.

Rusk County

The Bolton "A" Well No. 3 will be drilled to 9,000 feet 7.4 miles northeast of Laneville in the Minden (Travis Peak) Field by XTO Energy. The well is in the T.J. Jackson Survey, A-15.

San Augustine County

The York SU Well No. 1H will hit 15,000 feet 4.8 miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will be drilled by Exco Operating in the A.M. Davis Survey, A-99.

Tarrant County

The Fannin Farms A Unit Well No. 6H will be drilled by Carrizo Oil & Gas to 9,000 feet within the city limits of Arlington in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the W.W. Warnell Survey, A-1612.

Chesapeake Operating will drill eleven new wells in the East Newark Field to 9,000 feet.

  The Snow Well No. 3H and Snow Well No. 4H are within the city limits of Haltom City in the T. Akers Survey, A-25.

  The Keep A Steppin West Well No. 2H, the Keep A Steppin West Well No. 3H, the Keep A Steppin West Well No. 4H and the Keep A Steppin West Well No. 5H are 4.5 miles northeast of Mansfield in the H. Brandenburg Survey, A-129.

  The Moho Well No. 2H is within city limits of Fort Worth in the A. Newton Survey, A-1161.

  The Escalade Well No. 2H is .9 miles northeast of Arlington in the M. Harris Survey, A-704.

  The Buster Brown Well No. 1H is three miles northeast of Crowley in the G. Herrera Survey, A-2027.

  The Vaquero Well No. 1H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the G.J. Ashabranner Survey, A-7.

  The Highland Well No. 4H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the S. Woody Survey, A-1638.

In a lease within city limits of Fort Worth in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field, the Meacham Well No. W 18H will be drilled by XTO Energy to 12,000 feet in the W.B. Tucker Survey, A-1516.

XTO Energy will drill three new wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.

  The Dobson Unit Well No. 4H is 4.1 miles southwest of Benbrook in the T&P RR Co./B.R. Lacy Survey, A-1907.

  The Sorrow South Unit Well No. 6H is 4.7 miles north of Azle in the J.R. McElroy Survey, A-1066.

  The Carter NE Unit Well No. B 21H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the D.C. Pace Survey, A-1245.

Upshur County

The Ernest Bowers Gas Unit Well No. 6 will be drilled to 12,000 feet 6.5 miles west of Gilmer in the Rosewood (Cotton Valley) Field. Verado Energy will drill this well in the W. McFadden Survey, A-295.

COMPLETIONS

Freestone County

XTO Energy completed the Eubanks Unit No. 1 Well No. 15 to 12,813 feet 5.9 miles south of Teague in the Freestone Field. This well potentialed 1.213 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

XTO Energy completed the Fails Gas Unit Well No. 25 in the Freestone Field. This well hit 13,104 feet 5.7 miles southwest of Teague. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 902,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

The Wettermark Gas Unit Well No. 5 was completed by XTO Energy to 12,561 feet 2.8 miles northeast of Teague in the Teague Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.354 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

Johnson County

The East Newark Field has seen Chesapeake Operating completed four wells.

  The Bransom Well No. 2H hit 9,940 feet 9.5 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 3.576 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Bransom Well No. 5H hit 10,751 feet 9.5 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 3.437 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Little Hoss 7 Well No. G 2H hit 9,723 feet 14.1 miles northwest of Cleburne and potentialed 1.500 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.

  The Bransom Well No. 4H hit 10,184 feet 9.5 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 2.326 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

EOG Resources completed the U.S. Lime Well No. 28H to 9,664 feet 6.1 miles southwest of Bono in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.439 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

EOG Resources completed six wells in the East Newark Field. The wells were gauged on a 64/64-inch choke.

  The Gallagher Well No. 1H hit 9,737 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 4.215 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Gallagher Well No. 2H hit 9,800 feet 4.4 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 5.927 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Gallagher Well No. 3H hit 9,923 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 3.715 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Gallagher Well No. 4H hit 9,320 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 4.348 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Gallagher Well No. 5H hit 8,975 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 3.531 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Lake Alvarado Well No. 3H hit 12,015 feet 2.5 miles southwest of Alvarado and potentialed 2.822 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Leon County

The Varibus Well No. 15 is 5.4 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field. XTO Energy completed the well to 14,933 feet. On a 12/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.959 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Carr-Little 4 Ranch Unit Well No. 1 in the Hilltop Resort Field. This well hit 17,838 feet 3.8 miles south of Wealthy. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 12.144 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier.

Limestone County

XTO Energy completed the Morton No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 26 to 12,773 feet 13.9 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 787,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

Nacogdoches County

On a 14/64-inch choke the Corgey Well No. 1R potentialed 3.500 million cubic feet of gas. Valence Operating completed this well to 13,605 feet 16.6 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Northeast Martinsville Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Panola County

The Pec Minerals Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 1H was drilled by XTO Energy to 15,509 feet 4.7 miles southeast of Deberry in the Carthage Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.878 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

The Black Unit Well No. 16 U is located 3.8 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Devon Energy completed this well to 9,680 feet. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Southwest Hill formation.

Shelby Operating completed the Agurs Well No. 2 to 6,900 feet 8.6 miles northeast of DeBerry in the Bethany Field. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 515,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated.

San Augustine County

XTO Energy completed the Butler Rooney Gas Unit Well No. 1H to 18,918 feet 11 miles southwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 12.097 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

The Angie Field has seen Southwestern Energy complete the Steadham GU 1 Well No. 1H and the Timberstar-Platt GU 2 Well No. 1H.

The Steadham GU 1 Well No. 1H hit 14,247 feet 5.6 miles northeast of Attoyac and potentialed 6.568 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke.

The Timberstar-Platt GU 2 Well No. 1H hit 14,069 feet 6.6 miles northeast of Attoyac and potentialed 5.349 million cubic feet of gas on a 38/64-inch choke. Production is in the James Lime.

Shelby County

The CCB Field has seen the Sickel Well No. 1 completed by Unit Petroleum to 12,180 feet 5.4 miles northwest of Center. On an open choke the well potentialed 77,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Tarrant County

Devon Energy completed five wells in the East Newark Field. The wells were gauged on an open choke.

  The Hyde-Hickman "E" Well No. 2H hit 11,650 feet 1.7 miles north of White Settlement and potentialed 4.004 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Clifton Tannahill Gas Unit "A" Well No. 4H hit 11,415 feet 4.4 miles west of White Settlement and potentialed 2.259 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Hyde-Hickman "D" Well No. 3H hit 11,164 feet 2.3 miles northwest of White Settlement and potentialed 3.716 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Hyde-Hickman "F" Well No. 1H hit 11,155 feet 2.2 miles northwest of White Settlement and potentialed 4.035 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Hyde-Hickman "E" Well No. 3H hit 11,879 feet 2.3 miles north of White settlement and potentialed 3.543 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Carrizo Oil & Gas completed the Rice LOH A Well No. 6H to 14,430 feet within the city limits of Arlington in the East Newark Field. On a 31/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.394 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed the Bogi Well No. 5H and the McCulley Well No. 3H in the East Newark Field.

  The No. 5H hit 11,135 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 9.984 million cubic feet of gas.

  The No. 3H hit 10,954 feet 6.7 miles southeast of Fort Worth. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 2.430 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

The East Newark Field has seen XTO Energy complete a new well.

The Sandy's Dream Well No. 1H hit 10,105 feet 4.7 miles northeast of Mansfield and on a 38/64-inch choke potentialed 695,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Carrizo Oil & Gas completed the Lonestar Unit Well No. 9H to 13,135 feet within the city limits of Arlington in the East Newark Field. The well potentialed 4.069 million cubic feet of gas in the Barnett Shale.

Two new wells completed in the East Newark Field by Quicksilver Resources.

  The Lawhon South Unit Well No. 1H hit 9,950 feet 8.5 miles southwest of Arlington and on a .75-inch choke potentialed 572,000 cubic feet of gas.

  The Lawhon South Unit Well No. 2H hit 10,180 feet 8.4 miles southwest of Arlington. On a ï¾¾-inch choke the well potentialed 52,000 cubic feet of gas in the Barnett Shale.

Crow Creek completed the Harbour View Well No. C4H to 9,770 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth in the East Newark Field. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.572 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Quicksilver Resources completed two wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Whiz-Q West Unit Well No. 4H hit 11,315 feet 7.5 miles southwest of Arlington and potentialed 478,000 cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

  The Whiz-Q West Unit Well No. 5H hit 11,592 feet 7.5 miles southwest of Arlington and potentialed 358,000 cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
