Freestone County
XTO Energy will drill two new wells.
The J. A. Gilliam II Gas Unit Well No. 24 will hit 13,500 feet 7.1 miles southwest of Teague in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well is in the J.L. Chavert Survey, A-10.
The Buffalo Creek Gas Unit Well No. 12 will hit 13,500 feet 1.9 miles east of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the N. Peck Survey, A-820 and may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis or Pettit Peak) Fields.
Valence Operating will drill the Watson-Williford Well No. 1 to 13,000 feet 1.1 mile southwest of Fairfield in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well is in the I.H. Reed Survey, A-23.
Harrison County
The Miller Well No. 1 will be drilled by Prenwell to 2,550 feet 20.5 miles southeast of Marshall in the Panola Field. This well is in the J.H. Harrison Survey, A-329.
Johnson County
The Freight Train Unit Well No. 3H, the Dixon Unit Well No. 2H, the Dixon Unit Well No. 4H, the Dixon Unit Well No. 5H and the Tubbs Unit Well No. 5H will be drilled by XTO Energy to 12,000 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.
The Freight Train Unit Well No. 3H is 2.5 miles southeast of Mansfield in the L.H. Stevens Survey, A-785.
The Dixon Unit Well No. 2H, the No. 4H and No. 5H are 5.4 miles northwest of Alvarado in the J.F. Salas Survey, A-760.
The Tubbs Unit Well No. 5H is five miles northwest of Alvarado in the J.F. Salas Survey, A-760.
Devon Energy will drill five wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
The Prospect Co. Well No. 2H is 14.7 miles northeast of Cleburne.
The Prospect Co. Well No. 4H and No. 3H are 14.1 miles northeast of Cleburne. Both wells are in the W. Hickman Survey, A-327.
The Alvin Hagler Well No. 2H and the Alvin Hagler Well No. 3H are 7.5 miles northwest of Cleburne in the E.M. Thomason Survey, A-827.
Leon County
The Varibus Well No. 10HR will be drilled by XTO Energy to 19,500 feet 6.1 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the I. Connelly Survey, A-1152.
Brooks Petroleum will drill the Lispey - B- Well No. 3 to 9,000 feet nine miles southeast of Oakwood in the Navarro Crossing (Woodbine) Field. This well is in the H.W. Sublett Survey, A-779.
Robertson County
There will be three wells drilled by XTO Energy in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.
The Templeton Gas Unit Well No. 1 will hit 14,500 feet 4.4 miles north of Hearne in the C.L. Owen Survey, A-296.
The Taylor Gas Unit Well No. 6D will hit 14,300 feet 3.9 miles west of Franklin in the Henry Reed Survey, A-35.
The Beal Estate Gas Unit Well No. 22 will hit 14,400 feet 12.3 miles northeast of Franklin in the N. McCuistion Survey, A-264.
Rusk County
Zone Energy will drill ten new wells to 3,900 feet in the East Texas Field.
The wells are designated the Laird, S.S. - A- Well No. 1W, the Laird, S.S. - A- Well No. 2W, the Laird, S.S. - A- Well No. 3W, the Laird, S.S. - A- Well No. 4W, the Laird, S.S. - A- Well No. 5W, the Laird, S.S. - A- Well No. 6W, the Laird, S.S. - A- Well No. 9W, the Laird, B.F. Well No. 12W and the Laird, B.F. Well No. 13W.
The No. 1W and the No. 2W are 2.4 miles southwest of Kilgore.
The No. 3W, the No. 4W, the No. 5W, the No. 6W and the No. 9W are 2.3 miles southwest of Kilgore.
The No. 12W and No. 13W are 2.5 miles southwest of Kilgore.
All wells are in the I. Ruddle Survey, A-913.
The L.D. Crim Well No. 10W is 2.5 miles southwest of Kilgore in the I. Ruddle Survey, A-913.
San Augustine County
The Wildcats DU Well No. 1H will be drilled six miles north of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. XTO Energy will drill the well to 13,000 feet in the H.H. McKinney Survey, A-425.
In a lease 12.2 miles southwest of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the BSI/USFS Unit F16 Well No. 1H will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas to 15,500 feet in the Z. Redmond Survey, A-36.
Shelby County
The Surnson Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled by Lone Star to 8,000 feet 16 miles northwest of Center in the Timpson (Travis Peak) Field. This well is in the H. Byfield Survey, A-51 and may be drilled in the Northeast Timpson (James Lime) Field or the North Timpson (Pettit) Field.
In a lease 11.1 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Haley G Well No. 1 will be drilled by Southwestern Energy to 13,000 feet in the J. Rowe Survey, A-585.
Tarrant County
Chesapeake Operating will drill two wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet. The Glencrest Well No. 3H and the Glencrest Well No. 4H will be drilled within the city limits of Fort Worth in the M. Watson M Survey, A-1657.
Chesapeake Operating will drill nine wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet. The Escalade Well No. 3H is .9 miles northeast of Arlington in the M. Harris Survey, A-704.
The Welch Well No. 3H and the Welch Well No. 4H are within the city limits of Arlington in the W. Welch Survey, A-1668.
The Barron Well No. 1HS, the Barron Well No. 2HS, the Barron Well No. 3HS and the Barron Well No. 4HS are within the city limits of Arlington in the R.R. Ramey Survey, A-1341.
The Ridgmar Well No. 1H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the P. Pate Survey, A-1202.
The C. White Well No. 4H is within the city limits of Arlington in the W.W. Warnell Survey, A-1612.
Wood County
The B.L. Johnson "E" Well No. 7 will be drilled to 7,500 feet 3.6 miles northwest of Quitman in the Quitman Field by Goldston Oil. This well is in the H. Anderson Survey, A-10 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.

Cherokee County
XTO Energy completed the Chronister Heirs Well No. 23 to 12,225 feet 4.1 miles northeast of Wells in the Doyle Creek. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.357 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.
Freestone County
The F.R. Hill-Peyton (SA) Well No. 1H was completed by Devon Energy in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. This well hit 14,450 feet and potentialed 7.398 million cubic feet of gas on a .4375-inch choke. No location was recorded. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Harrison County
NFR Energy completed the Blalock "A" Well No. 16H to 15,163 feet five miles southwest of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.756 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Berry Oil completed the Jenkins East GU 1 Well No. 2H and the Jenkins East GU 1 Well No. 3H in the Carthage Field.
The No. 2H hit 16,130 feet 9.6 miles southwest of Marshall and potentialed 7.348 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.
The No. 3H hit 16,086 feet 9.8 miles southwest of Marshall and potentialed 7.193 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Johnson County
The Bruno Czajkowski Bruno Well No. 4H and the Selma Goodnight Well No. 2H were completed by Devon Energy in the East Newark Field.
The No. 4H well hit 9,970 feet 15.8 miles northeast of Cleburne. On an open choke the well potentialed 2.577 million cubic feet of gas.
The No. 2H well hit 10,553 feet 10.4 miles northeast of Cleburne. On an open choke the well potentialed 2.677 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
EOG Resources completed the Ford Unit Well No. 5H to 12,325 feet 4.5 miles northeast of Godley in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.264 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
In a lease 1.9 miles southeast of Pleasant Point, in the East Newark Field, the Green Acres Unit Well No. 2H was completed by Titan Operating to 10,970 feet. The well potentialed 2.734 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
XTO Energy completed two new wells in the East Newark Field.
The J. Rafter Unit Well No. A 2H hit 11,506 feet 2.5 miles east of Burleson and potentialed 6.048 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.
The J. Rafter Unit Well No. A 3H hit 10,091 feet 2.5 miles east of Burleson and potentialed 5.816 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Leon County
BRG Lone Star completed the Busy B Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 10,431 feet 15.3 miles northwest of Centerville in the Bear Grass Field. On a 12/64-inch choke the well potentialed 361,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.
Nacogdoches County
EOG Resources completed the Cran Et Al Well No. 2H to 19,248 feet 2.8 miles southwest of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.300 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Navarro County
The Galahad PG MSL Well No. 2 hit 1,800 feet one mile southeast of Powell in the Corsicana Field. This well was completed by Foxfire Productions. This well flowed with 2.5 barrels of crude, no choke size recorded. Production is in the Shallow.
Panola County
Devon Energy completed the Annie Harvey Gas Unit Well No. 1H to 15,899 feet ten miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 2.868 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
The BS Broderick GU 2 Well No. 6H was completed by Exxon Mobil to 15,616 feet 8.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On a .25-inch choke the well potentialed 4.097 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Patara Oil & Gas completed three wells in the Beckville Field.
The Weir Estate Well No. 2 hit 10,365 feet 12.1 miles northwest of Carthage and potentialed 1.220 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.
The Dobbins GU Well No. 4 hit 10,440 feet 12.5 miles northwest of Carthage and potentialed 1.245 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.
The J.H. Browning Well No. 7 hit 10,390 feet 11.2 miles southwest of Carthage and potentialed 1.152 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
In a lease 12.1 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Beckville Field, the Taylor Heirs Well No. 8 was completed by Patara Oil & Gas to 10,210 feet. The well potentialed 995,000 cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Robertson County
The Devon Fee 5 Gas Unit Well No. 2 hit 12,135 feet 11.6 miles northwest of Franklin. O'Benco completed this well in the Bald Prairie Field. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.725 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Rusk County
NFR Energy completed the Green Unit Well No. 1 to 11,790 feet 3.3 miles northeast of Henderson in the Minden Field. On a 38/64-inch choke the well potentialed 657,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Sabine County
On a 16/64-inch choke the John O. Hall Well No. 1 potentialed 1.038 million cubic feet of gas. Endeavor Natural Gas completed this well to 12,500 feet 14 miles north of Hemphill in the Times Hall Field in the Cotton Valley.
San Augustine County
EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Black Stone Unit A-398 Well No. 1H to 20,010 feet 8.6 miles west of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. The well potentialed 23.424 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Shelby County
XTO Energy completed the Cougars DU Well No. 1 to 14,244 feet 6.2 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 536,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County
Carrizo Oil & Gas completed four wells in the East Newark Field.
The Uta "B" Unit Well No. 11H hit 13,066 feet within the city limits of Arlington and potentialed 3.493 million cubic feet of gas on a 19/64-inch choke.
The Rice LOH A Unit Well No. 5H hit 13,327 feet within the city limits of Arlington and potentialed 4.125 million cubic feet of gas on a 36/64-inch choke.
The Lonestar Unit Well No. 9H hit 13,135 feet within the city limits of Arlington and potentialed 4.069 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke.
The Ervin Unit Well No. 1H hit 11,416 feet 2.5 miles northeast of Mansfield and potentialed 4.752 millkion cubic feet of gas on a 34/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Carrizo Oil & Gas completed two wells in the East Newark Field.
The Uta "A" Unit Well No. 21H hit 12,173 feet within the city limits of Arlington and potentialed 2.936 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke.
The Uta "A" Unit Well No. 22H hit 11,430 feet within the city limits of Arlington and potentialed 1.687 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Devon Energy completed the Veale Ranch Well No. 39 to 11,686 feet six miles southeast of Aledo in the East Newark Field. On an open choke the well potentialed 965,000 cubic feet of gas production in the Barnett Shale.
Chesapeake Operating completed two wells in the East Newark Field.
The Newell Well No. 3H hit 10,339 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.812 million cubic feet of gas on a.75-inch choke.
The Matlock Well No. 2H hit 13,523 feet 15.4 miles southeast of Fort Worth and potentialed 5.933 million cubic feet of gas on a.75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
