Rheata Resources will drill the Temple Industries Well No. 3 to 2,000 feet 3.5 miles north of Jarvis in a wildcat field. The well is in the G.V. Lusk Survey, A-476.

Angelina County

White Rock Exploration will drill the Winbo Well No. 2 in a wildcat field. This well will hit 11,500 feet 6.7 miles east of Lufkin in the B.M. Hall Survey, A-317. It may be drilled in the Odell Creek (James) Field or the Rocky Springs (U.G.R.) Field.

Harrison County

In a lease 2.9 miles south of Woodlawn, in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field, the Patricia Pope Whaley Gas Unit Well No. 4H will be drilled by BP America to 15,000 feet in the H. Martin Survey, A-431.

Johnson County

The Rice Unit Well No. 8H will be drilled to 12,000 feet 4.3 miles southeast of Burleson in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well will be drilled by XTO Energy in the J.G. Brown Survey, A-95.

Limestone County

XTO Energy will drill the Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 29 to 14,500 feet 3.9 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field.

The well is in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26 and may be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Southeast Farrar (Pettit) Field.

XTO Energy will drill two new wells in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Filed.

  The B.W. Thompson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 26 will hit 13,600 feet 3.6 miles southwest of Donie.

  The Tumlinson "A" No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 15 is 16 miles southeast of Groesbeck. Both wells are in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26 and may be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Southeast Farrar (Pettit) Field.

Nacogdoches County

EOG Resources will drill two wells to 14,350 feet in the C.V. Hoya Survey, A-280.  The Simpson Unit Well N.1H and the Shofner Unit Well No. 1H are 6.1 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.

Exco Operating will drill the Walker SU H Well No. 1H to 16,000 feet five miles south of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J. Walker Survey, A-57

Panola County

NFR Energy will be drill the Preston South Deep Well No. 1H to 12,305 feet 2.5 miles southeast of Tatum in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the W. Gooden Survey, A-221.

In a lease 3.6 miles northwest of Joaquin in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Werner-Micher Well No. 6H will be drilled by Classic Operating to 13,500 feet in the M. Carpenter Survey, A-921.

Petroquest Energy will drill the Penna-Sikes Well No. 1H to 10,000 feet 16.6 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the J.W. Sikes Survey, A-822.

In a lease 9.2 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Summers Family Well No. 1 will be drilled by Sun River Operating to 12,000 feet. This well is in the A.J. McGowan Survey, A-426.

Robertson County

XTO Energy will drill the Rough Riders Well No. 1H to 11,200 feet four miles west of Franklin in the Giddings (Buda) Field. The well is in the H. Reed Survey, A-35.

San Augustine County

In a lease 10.4 miles northwest of San Augustine, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Platt SU Well No. 1H will be drilled by Exco Operating to 15,000 feet in the T. Platt Survey, A-219.

XTO Energy will drill the black Knights DU Well No. 2H to 21,000 feet 8.4 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the C. Zanco Survey, A-329.

Shelby County

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Abney GU SLB Well No. 1H to 18,500 feet eight miles northeast of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J. Buckley Survey, A-41.

Smith County

The Maric Battee Well No. 1 will be drilled to 8,000 feet 3.2 miles northwest of Winona in the Winona (Paluxy A) Field by Goldston Oil. This well is in the T.G. Box Survey, A-170 and may be drilled in the Winona (Paluxy B) Field or a wildcat field.

Tarrant County

XTO Energy will drill three well in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.

  The Lynn Unit Well No. 4H and the Lynn Unit Well No. 5H are 8.3 miles southwest of Grand Prairie in the J. Lynn Survey, A-972.

  The Sitting Bull Unit Well No. B 4H is 6.4 miles southwest of Benbrook in the S. Scragg Survey, A-1457.

Chesapeake Operating will drill six wells in the East Newark (Barentee Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

  The Tee Well No. 1H and the Tee Well No. 2H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the S.H. McEntire Survey, A-1006.

  The Molly Tar Well No. 5H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the W. Mask Survey, A-1040.

  The Broad Well No. 2H, the Broad Well No. 3H and the Broad Well No. 4H are 3.3 miles east of Mansfield in the J. Back Survey, A-126.

The Pearl Ranch-VRPR (SA) Well No. 1H will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas to 9,000 feet 1.6 miles southwest of Benbrook the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the T&P RR Co. Survey, A-1475.

Anderson County

The Carrizo Sand Unit Well No. 308 I was completed in the Slocum Field by Basa Resources. This well hit 690 feet one mile southwest of Slocum. No test data was recorded.

Cherokee County

Parten Operating completed the Margaret Bateman Well No. 1 to 5,131 feet 5.6 miles southwest of Jacksonville in the North Maydelle. On a 12/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.440 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Woodbine.

Franklin County

The Moncrief-Westland Unit Well No. 106 was completed by Valence Operating to 12,440 feet 2.7 miles north of Winnsboro in the W.A. Moncrief Field. The well potentialed 927,000 cubic feet of gas on a 0-inch choke. Production is in the Smackover.

Freestone County

XTO Energy completed the J. M. Pollard Gas Unit Well No. 24 to 13,110 feet in the Freestone Field and the Reed Gas Unit No. 4 Well No. 5H to 14,067 feet in the Teague Field.

The No. 24 well is 3.5 miles northwest of Donie. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 744,000 cubic feet of gas.

The No. 5H well is 5.2 miles southwest of Fairfield. On a 30/64-inch choke the well potentialed 157,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

Gregg County

The Rogers "B" Well No. 1 was completed by Tanos Exploration in the Willow Springs Field. This well hit 10,570 feet within the city limits of Clarksville. On an open choke, the well flowed with eight barrels of crude. Production is in the Pettit Middle.

Harrison County

The Carthage Field has seen NFR Energy complete the Rollie Sims Deep GU Well No. 2H. This well hit 16,165 feet five miles west of Darco. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.657 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Comstock Oil & Gas completed the Furrh "H" Well No. 1H to 15,680 feet 6.5 miles southwest of Waskom in the Carthage Field. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.778 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Leon County

Allied Operating drilled the Wallrath Well No. 1H to 11,170 feet 3.1 miles southeast of Centerville in the South Centerville Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well flowed with 261 barrels of crude. Production is in the Woodbine W-1.

Brooks Petroleum completed the Billy H. Gragg Well No. 1 in the Navarro Crossing Field to 6,350 feet nine miles southeast of Oakwood. On a 10/64-inch choke, the well flowed with 145 barrels of crude. Production is in the Woodbine.

Limestone County

XTO Energy completed the Beachcomber Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 23 to 18,080 feet 4.4 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field. On a 20/64-choke the well potentialed 2.020 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

Nacogdoches County

EnCana Oil & Gas (drilled the the Brent Miller A1 Well No. 1H to 19,505 feet in a lease five miles southwest of Chireno in the Carthage Field. This well potentialed 17.952 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Panola County

Deep Rock Resources completed the Jean Pope Well No. 2 to 9,000 feet in Logan. The well potentialed 1.0537 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.

The Raley Well No. 4 was completed in the Carthage Field by Patara Oil & Gas to 10,190 feet. This well is 10.8 miles southwest of Carthage. When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 530,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Patara Oil & Gas drilled the Wier Estate Well No. 4 and the Zelma Austin Well No. 1.

  The No. 4 hit 10,241 feet 12.2 miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field and potentialed 1.287 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

   No. 1 hit 10,111 feet 11.5 miles southwest of Carthage in the Beckville Field and potentialed 1.033 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.

Rusk County

Ironwood Oil & Gas completed the Ragle Well No. 1H to 14,470 feet 5.2 miles southeast of Kilgore in the Oak Hill Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.232 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

San Augustine County

On a 22/64-inch choke the Davis SU Well No. 1H potentialed 19.869 million cubic feet of gas. This well hit 18,925 feet 6.3 miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. Exco Operating drilled this well in the Haynesville Shale.

Shelby County

XTO Energy completed the Gamecocks DU Well No. 1H in the Carthage Field. This well hit 19,145 feet 4.4 miles southeast of Shelbyville. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.069 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Classic Operating completed the Brooks Et Al Well No. 8 to 8,800 feet 2.4 miles east of Joaquin in the Joaquin Field. On a 23/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.919 million cubic feet of gas.

Tarrant County

XTO Energy completed the TRWD III Well No. 3H and the Ole Gieser Unit Well No. D5H in the East Newark Field.

  The No. 3H well hit 8,686 feet within the city limits of Azle. On a 30/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.540 million cubic feet of gas.

  The No. D 5H well hit 10,223 feet .4 miles north of Retta. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.918 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Mercer Ranch Well No. 504H to 9,717 feet 4.2 miles southwest of Benbrook in the East Newark Field. On a 36/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.575 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed the West Howell Well No. 1H to 13,770 feet within the city limits of Grand Prairie in the East Newark Field. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 3.757 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Devon Energy completed the Hencken Unit "B" Fed Well No. 1H to 12,564 feet 1.8 miles south of Fort Worth in the East Newark Field.

The well potentialed 2.294 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
