does anyone know of encana planning to drill on this section in order to keep the lease. the lease is up in april and word is out they are planning to drill.  thanks

Mason, does the lease have an option clause that would allow the term to be extended by EnCana?
it has already been extended for one year . they have to drill or release i guess. it"s on my son"s lease and it was for one year with a one year extension. the ext. is up .
Mason, there has not been any permits yet for Haynesville Shale wells in T8N-R11W. I would say it is possible but not likely that EnCana would spud a well in your section before the end of April.
