ETC Texas Pipeline,LTD a division of Energy Transfer--proposed pipeline (HELP)

Received letter today about proposed pipeline project in Nacogdoches County Texas and may come across our tract of land. As I understand these are the Big pipelines that are interstate size. They included a copy of Bill of Rights Act, HB 1495 discussion of eminent domain if unable to come to an agreement. Any one in the group have knowledge of dealing with this type of ROW and this type pipeline. This is not the typical pipelines ROW that involve only collecting gas for few wells in area. Would like information from informed members please. A representative will contact us next week or so.

adubu - If this is an interstate pipeline, you might find the FERC website useful as a resource. Does the information you receive have a docket number on it for FERC?

Sesport, this is a Texas intrastate pipeline rather than an interstate gas pipeline so no FERC docket is involved.
Les - Thanks, it's posted in the topic "... these are Big pipelines that are interstate size," which is why I posted "if it is." Other than the company's name, not much other detail to go by. Plus I can't find where I bookmarked ETP to look further. (bookmark stack is now wayyy over my head) Hey, I just warm up the crowd until you get here, lol. 80)

ummm ... Okay, I think ... and thanks for your input? 80)
Les B--I do not know at this time if it will be intra or interstate but still question is any one have any personal knowledge dealing with them?
ETP is doing the 42" Tiger pipeline also. Their initial offer was around $150 a rod. They are up to around $700 now. Get an attorney, they employ some suspect negotiating methods.
Bacon-Thanks for info--found on web site of the Tiger pipeline project you talked about a excellent download on FERC Citizen Guild to ROW for this type pipeline. An Interstate Natural Gas Facility and Pipeline on My Land What Do I Need to Know. The addition info I would like to have is what are they paying as you said above up to $700 a rod. Anyone personally had dealing with them? Will they pay annual rental in addition to initial payment for $ per rod? etc.
Back in Sept. 2009 negotiated a deal for $675 per rod. They usually will not pay rentals, only initial payment.
thanks Nick Waters---If you do not mind which pipeline was this and type property--farm, hwy frontage, farm off in woods, or city limits type or what?
ETC project and it is a farm in the woods out side of city limits. Don't mean to be vague just careful about any confidentiality concerns.
Nick---interesting--- how many rods? Did you have to go thru apprasial for this price? what was their 1st offer? was this easy to deal with or did you have to get attorney involved? Thanks
