Four Countries Approve Patent on
Cyclone Power Technologies’ Green Engine
POMPANO BEACH, FL, Jan. 14, 2009. Cyclone Power Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets:
CYPW) announced today that four separate countries have issued patents or notices of patent allowance on the company’s environmentally-friendly, all-fuel steam engine.
Cyclone recently received patents for its engine in Australia and South Africa, and notice of allowance for patent protection in China and Russia. Notice of allowance signifies that Cyclone is entitled to patent protection under the laws of that country.

“Issuance of patents in these countries is extremely important,” stated company COO and
Director, Frankie Fruge. “We have received substantial interest in our technology internationally, and with patents in these and, hopefully, other major territories shortly; we are better able to protect our intellection property and the valuable assets of our company.”

Cyclone received patent protection for its engine in the United States in 2006, and then on the engine’s unique combustion chamber in 2008. The company has applications pending for other components of its engine in the U.S., and for the engine in virtually every industrialized nation.

POMPANO BEACH, FL, Nov. 24, 2008 -- Cyclone Power Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets: CYPW) will be showcasing its award-winning engines at POWER-GEN International 2008, being held December 2-4 in Orlando, Florida.

Of particular interest will be a display of the Company’s Waste Heat Engine (WHE) attached to its proprietary solar thermal collector. A single 10” x 4” reflective trough is capable of providing sufficient heat to the WHE to generate approximately 0.5 HP of mechanical output. Arranged atop a small business building, shopping center or flat-roofed home, an array of solar troughs can be used to generate much of the electricity requirements for that facility at a substantially reduced cost from comparable photovoltaic systems.

The Company expects that applications for the WHE with renewable fuel sources, such as the sun and even biomass, may comprise major markets for this highly adaptable, patent-pending steam engine. However, as the name implies, the Waste Heat Engine is also capable of smallscale co-generation applications, from commercial ovens to industrial furnaces or even truck engine exhaust systems. “The versatility of the WHE is one of its greatest assets,” stated Cyclone’s COO, Frankie Fruge. “From renewable fuels to wasted heat, the WHE will be able to fill many niche power generation
markets starting in 2009.”

Cyclone recently announced its initial sale of a beta WHE system, this one to provide electricity for a glass manufacturing company from the heat expelled from its industrial furnaces. This first installation will be a unique co-generation application for the WHE, which will derive all of its power from otherwise wasted heat. The net result of this efficiency process will be less electricity consumption and fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
