You may not be a lawyer, but you do know some top-notch O&G attorneys (and have had the counsel of one of the very best in La, (as best as I remember it, but I could be wrong). And your advice on GHS has always been spot-on.

I have met some of my very best friends on this forum and learned so much from so many. Keith sure blessed a bunch of us when he serendipitously created this site.
This is why I gave no details... not my Aunt's name, the company that's got the permits, the unit name, the survey name, etc.
Unfortunately, not everyone's radar goes up when mineral/royalty issues are involved... another relative sold her mineral interest in the same unit (1/6th of the Unit), and was very happy with what she received... until I informed her how much the well across the road was making, and how much her monthly checks would be... even after the initial high production had leveled out.
I'll tell her she needs to talk to another attorney asap about this issue...
