The attached shows a summary of the most active operators in the play and the parishes/counties with the most current drilling activity.
The total rig count has remained constant for seven weeks at 19 with 11 rigs in Louisiana and 8 in Texas. The only change this week was EOG moving a rig from San Augustine County to Shelby County.

Where can the general public go to get such data of how many rigs are in a county/parrish?
Furthermore is there a way to find out who is operating those rigs.
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
