LP, Thank you for the  beautiful and moving tribute to our Veterans.  I am proud of my Dad (WWII), his service and sacrifices for our Freedom. To all who have served and are currently serving to protect our Freedom. The photos are very touching with the music.  Many prayers to the Families, with my most humble Thank You. May those currently serving be Honored and Respected, as those that have gone before.  Reminding us of the true meaning of Memorial Day.   So beautiful.

Well said Zydeco.  It is very humbling indeed, knowing the cost our nation's finest and bravest are paying.  My prayers too are with the families of those serving and the one's who did not come home.

LP, THANK YOU for this posting. We all need to be reminded to remember all those who have made many sacrafices to ensure our FREEDOMS. I am hopeful we will NEVER forget and that we all remind our children, grandchildren and others why we should all celebrate this day and everyday.

I will be attending a service at a large National Cemetery which is only about 4 miles from my house. They have a wonderful ceremony honoring all veterans. I have attended everyone for the last 15 years and I am hopeful that all GHS members will pause to give thanks to those who have given so much to this GREAT COUNTRY.
