How will the Exxon buyout of XTO affect landowners leasing to XTO

Just a question:

My family and I own land already being leased by xto;however action on the land never took off and we are now in litigation w xto. Seeing as how all conracts were legally binding on all sides, and
XTO is now EXXON, what should one assume will happen in regards to the lack of action/payments on XTO's end.?

BTW, I live in FL, and this forum has been very helpful in keeping me informed of the happenings.
Thank you

Nate

Thanks, Jay. I have a neighbor who's 80+ yr. old mother lives in Carthage, has leases with XTO and tries to manage on her own. Neighbor & mother were unaware of this pending (or is it a potential?) change. I was able to tell her the same thing that you're advising. I think more questions will be coming as more people begin to realize how they are affected.
