IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS LEASED WITH JW PORTER AND ASSOCIATES AND HAVE NOT BEEN PAID?

THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE LEASED WITH JW PORTER AND ASSOCIATES THAT HAVE YET TO BE PAID. AND ARE NOT BEING TOLD WHY. THEY WILL NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. NOT A GOOD WAY OF DOING BUSINESS. WE HAVE DRAFTS COMING DUE NEXT WEEK WITH THEM AND THEY CANNOT EVEN TELL US IF THEY WILL BE PAID. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON NOW FOR OVER A MONTH. WHO ELSE WITH THEM IS HAVING THIS PROBLEM? I THINK THAT ANYONE THAT DOES, THE LAND OWNERS NEED TO GET TOGETHER AND FANALLY DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!! THEY SAY IF YOU HAVE A LEASE THAT WAS SIGNED OR EXECUTED BEFORE THE 15TH OF OCTOBER THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BE PROCESSED WITH CHESAPEAKE ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS. YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes i signed a lease, and it has not been recorded. i donot know who to contact at chesapeake.

I would send a certfied letter to who you leased to. their name and address are on the top of your lease.

If your draft is not past its due date, just be patient.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
