rickey--- what county are you in? suggest post this question in that county group will  get better replys. Also go to Tx RRC site look at the GIS Map and zoom in on that survey --you can see what activity is there--- check jfree1 group for help on look things up on Tx RRC web site.

I found your survey J. McCormick in the West  Tenaha area in North West Shelby County and looking at RRC TX map nothing going on in that Survey -- A marginal James line well about mile+ to East drilled a couple years ago and is not producing. two H shale wells about 2 miles to SSW that are marginal at best made <1 Bcf in two years.Doubt if operator will get investment payout back on these wells.  I am sorry  to say this area at present time not very favorable looking at Map  Unless there maybe something deeper, who knows--- I hear rumor about APC maybe looking at a deep oil play to the West of this area about 16 miles (That a long way off however) around the  Caledonia area of US Hwy84 over in Rusk County line and I have not heard on rumor that it extends into Shelby however so doubt anything to get excited about sorry :(

thanks for imfo, was hoping for better news, but any news beats not knowing anything
