SONRIS recently changed the way to access log data. The closest thing I can find is on the "Department of Natural Resources" "Content Management Search" screen. You can search by Document Type among other things, and Well Log is a document type specified. And, you can search with a serial number, which is how it worked previously. But, I can't get a response, only a "blank page"--even on wells where I know there is log data because I accessed it previously. Has anyone been able to get a log from the new system?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
