GoHaynesvilleShale continues to grow!
So here's a place for new comers to introduce themselves and members to welcome them and show them the ropes. In the same way we might go around the room and tell a bit about ourselves, let's do that here. Newbies, you can let the members know things such as:
- what state / county you're from
- what you hope to gain from and offer to the GHS community
- whether or not you're a mineral owner (i.e.you own land that has minerals beneath the surface) and/or you're an interested citizen, professional, etc
- if you are a mineral owner, have you leased your land to a drilling company or not
- questions you may have for the community
Welcome to GHS! Let the conversation begin...

I have lived in California since the end of World War II, and visit Harrison County only occasionally, but I am glad that the Kingstree Ranch gas units include my childhood home area.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
