new addition and totally clueless

I have been reading posts for the past couple of weeks. There seems to be some people that know their stuff, so that is why I decided to join I have an interest in a well serial#240844 s8-12n-r9w rr parish what can someone tell me about this well.Was told that it was under alot of pressure. What does that mean? Good or bad? I am very green to all this.

Dana, it was likely just a reference to the high pressure present in the Haynesville Shale since EnCana has just finished frac'ing this well. This is good news as high pressure is what contributes to high flow rates and higher natural gas in place volumes. Hopefully EnCana has made a good completion for this well.
