Havent seen the new location but it cant be far from Deltic Timber #8, S# 239201. Samson being drilled by Scan Eagle down Potter Road. Location road is a mile long from what I hear so it cant be too far from Montgomery Crossing as the crow flies.

I heard they started putting rocks on this location today, shouldn't be long before they have a rig on it. The funny thing is, the same man owns the whole section.

Heard today from a very good source that the Scan Eagle isnt going to be drilling this one. Samson pulling the smaller rig out of this area for now after the Deltic Timber. Dont know how far up the food chain the info came from but my source is solid.

I believe this land was leased by Pin Oak originally, if I am thinking of the same landowner that you talking about Muddigger. Have heard that they were doing work for BeUSA. Have heard that BeUSA was doing work for PHK. This info isnt solid at all. Sorry.

As long as we all have our ears on, I'm sure we will know soon. Its just getting closer to my early retirement. We can see the Scan eagle rig from our place and this new one will be even closer. I'm working nights on horizontal wells right now and it sure does make it easy to stay awake " Countin my Chickens" . Glad I never received any lease money now. I have a strong dislike for Lyin' (_I_) Land Men and can't wait for one of them to try and make me an offer thats better than 100%. So far we have really been enjoying our 100% of nothing. Best I can tell there's only about 50 acres in our section that has not been leased. So hopefully within the next 5 years they will drill in our section, if its not too much paperwork :)

Muddigger-- my section will be a paperwork nightmare. So you are in good company.

Hubby went by the spot today. Uhhh.. just how many loads of dirt do they put down for a pad that size? Can't imagine how much $$$ that is. Getting something "Dirt Cheap"-- that expression is not correct in this case! That's not counting rocks! LOL

I still don't see a permit for this well, Is it normal for them to build a location ($$$$$$$$$$$$$) before the well has been permitted?
