I noticed markers on my property for a pipeline. Does anybody know the name of the company, contact information of the people in charge of the pipeline along hwy 120 just inside sabine parish on Hwy 120 out of Marthaville?  I have asked everybody I see in a survey truck and so far nobody knows or they don't speak much english. It looks like one is running east and west and one is runing north and south. I'm concerned about the east and west line.

The best I can remember is 15558 or something like that. There might have been a few other numbers but no name I can recall.

I'll be back there on Sunday and look at it again.
According to several sources, the new pipelines that cross, or will cross, Hwy. 175 south of Pleasant Hill, and on down to just south of Belmont, have been transferred to Centerpoint. The deal was to have formally closed Friday. Exactly how many lines are involved, I don't know, but there were some in DeSoto Parish and several in Sabine. I was also warned to check my lease closely for a "gas gathering fee." I am not familiar with all the technical aspects, but person well versed in pipeline matters stated EnCana and Cheasapeake standard lease stipulate the landowner will pay a portion of the gathering fees, which are assessed on every thousand feet of gas put into the line. Back to the pipelines, as of now Centerpoint is the go to company for answers. As was explained to me, all of the people EnCana contracted with are now out of the picture.
