I have been a member of GHS several months. You all have helped a bunch of us in La. Thanks again. I read a lot of your articles. Some are business, some are personal. My husbands 28 year old neice was coming back from Bat. Rouge going to Boyce, La. yeaterday. She lost control of her car ???  hit a tree and burnt up in the car within 7 minutes. She had lost a child at one year old and has left a 4 year old. She was on her way to pick him up. Our whole family is devastated. Her mother and all the family needs prayer. Thank you. Sherry,
Simple words are just not enough! May your family be lifted in prayer!

My prayers are with you all.  Remember to keep his mother's memory alive, because he will probably not remember much about his mother.  Hopefully, you will have pictures so that he can put a face with the many memories that you can provide for him.  It will help the child to realize that his mother was truly loved and still is even after her death.    We've done this with my children who lost two  of their grandparents within a 3 year period  (my daughter was just a month old and my son was not born when my mother passed away and they were 3 years  and 1/12 years when my father passed away).  They can tell you many things about them because my husband and I have tried to keep their memory alive by telling them things about my parents.  Keep the faith and know that things will turn out for the best.  God is love.
