heard today royalty payments are down in desoto parish, around 150. thought they would be around 300 to 500. please give me a more accurate gauge.

Just kidding Lawrence, just hard to tell what you are talking about.
each well and each lease is different. Royalty pmts. are based on production, percentage one has on lease, price of natural gas, decline curve of well. Too many things factor in to say there is any average amount per acre

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
