Does 7964# mean 7964 psi at the wellhead or something else?

what does this mean: flowing over 700 on pressure?
Mac, the well has a flowing casing pressure of 7964 psi at the wellhead upstream of the choke.

Most Haynesville Shale wells are initially tested before production is installed so that is the reason for the flowing casing pressure rather the more typical flowing tubing pressure. Production tubing would be installed 2-3 months later after the water production rate has declined.
OK, the well in question lists 1034, 758, 512 as the casing size. I'm assuming this means that the "hole" size tapers as you go further down the well. If I'm correct and the hole is 10.34 inches at the top, that's 668,000 lbs or 300 tons.

YOW!!! That's the weight of 1 1/2 modern locomotives.

I'd hate to be the guy who has to put the cap back on if it comes unscrewed.
Mac, you are close on casing diameters:

10 & 3/4"
7 & 5/8"
5 & 1/2"
Thanks, Les. I was thinking 10 3/4, but typed 10.34.

The website was the brainchild of Keith Mauck, a landowner and entrepreneur who recognized a pressing need: landowners in the region had little access to…
