I could be wrong but I believe they are waiting on pipeline. If you will visit the Sabine County Group there has been lots of discussion about that well.

Thank You Frank. I dont understand why they are keeping it so hush hush. But they must have hit big!!!!! Very Exciting
Frank, do you know where it ties in to Gulf South? I believe this is the same line Tenaska is putting across our property north of San Augustine. I am interested about the processing plant you mentioned. Haven't heard that. any info is appreciated.
Yes A.C. 123, one in the same. Initial line was surveyid and announced as a 9.36 mile line by Endeavor starting near Hall location at 12", going South to near Telephone Rd./Hwy.87 intersect transitioning to 24 " and going on south tieing to Gulf South about 400 yds. South of Hwy 21 where the "plant" is being built with about 5 Ac. site prepped. Was told it is primarily for CO2 removal. Tenaska then entered the picture announcing its entire East Texas gathering system involving Sabine, San Aug., Nacogdoches, Shelby, and Panola Counties. This system ties to the Endeavor line @ Tele. Rd. mentioned above and is probably Tenaska to tie in point w/ G.S. Yes, it goes West along elec. transmission from Tele.Rd. across Sabine and San Augustine counties north of Hwy.21.
I understand that when a well is "frac'd",such process is part of final completion. If the well is not allowed to flow into a pipeline,in a reasonable time, the production capacity of the well is decreased.
Patience!
Robert -- this is very true on sand wells like Travis Peak and Cotton Valley but not necessary on shale wells since they only recover about 20-25% of frac water so flow back immediately into pipeline not as important with shale formation after frac but most desire pipeline to be avaliable.
I just joined this thread, so I apologize if this has been discussed, but do you have any thoughts about what this well is targeting? Seems unlikely that such a deep vertical is a shale well. No horizontal permit has been filed and the well has been at TD since May.
Thank you.
Although permit was for 18,500, feel pretty sure it was drilled to 12,500 Ft. range (from some pretty reliable sources). This would put it in Mid Bossier and Haynesville range. Doubt that it will be completed vertically. Possible reentry for lateral and completion when the pipeline is in service which should be soon.
Frank, I appreciate your thoughts and information.
