Just wondering if anyone living in and around Hemphill knows of any action by the drilling companies.  We live in Nacogdoches and it is still booming out Hwy 7 towards Center.  Can't get to the Hemphill area much, so we would really appreciate any news.  I read where there was some action at Geneva and around San Augustine on the Hemphill side.  Fingers crossed that they are headed that way.  Our place is over by the Antioch Baptist Church.  thanks

Don't know of anything going on in that area. Some limited leasing activity going on in N. part of county. Some new rumors in last couple of weeks of lease folks inquiring about office space in Hemphill. Nothing concrete. Rumor still persists of east/west gathering line in works from Ford's corner area east to intersect point with gathering line currently going in from Hall area south to Hwy. 21. Saw a new survey line E/W crossing Hwy. 87 near Reeves Rd. last weekend going toward Hall area. Could be??? but this is quite a bit north of Gravelhill area.
I know there is alot of action going on. I would like to know how to find out if a well is producingWe also leased with Devon and others. Devon is not drilling anything but I know if they leased their reputaion is that they will drill. Now would be nice!
We own property in Rosevine only about a mile from Tebo Ranch. Our land is on the Sabine Co side but we are currently in Montana for a while and i'm trying to find out what's actually going on around Tebo. I have no idea if we have been surveyed into a block or not. I'm really out of the loop on this since we have been gone for a while. Any help would be great
Nanette and hsfiscus,

There are no permits near the Rosevine/Tebo area, at this time. I feel like we will see something permitted by the end of 3rd quarter, maybe sooner. I think it (permitting of new wells) depends on the progress of the pipelines planned for the northern region of the county.
More good news at least from the marketing infrastructure standpoint. Tenaska management and engineering office is now open in Hemphill on Hwy. 87 (Old Neal's Marine Center location). Talked to them this PM and was told 1) Working on pipeline system/network that will involve the" Hall" line and along Hwy. 87 North to at least Center, 2) pipeline is being laid from compressor station @ Hall line origination to the Hall # 1 pad, 3) Plant site @ transmission line site will be primarily for CO2 removal. Not all of site prepared area will be used now, but such a large area has been provided for future expansion! Seems like the de-risk of North Sabine County will be in full swing in near future!!!
I can't wait. Thanks Frank.
Devon has unitized a huge chunk across the pond (Sabine parish ) things are shaping up.
