Jack, the Nabors rig 322 had been drilling for 36 days on April 23. Barring any problems, the well should be at total depth by now.
I heard they had experienced lost circulation and other problems with this well.
RR,
What is "lost circulation?"
While drilling mud is being pumped down the drill pipe, out the bit and back up the annulus, it leaves the bore hole and moves into the formation being penetrated. Circulation is interrupted or "lost".
its bad
Jack Blake don't know jack about drilling, but he thinks they may get lost circulation from too heavy of mud because they thought they would see more formation pressure than they actually had and/or maybe the formation is more permeable than anticipated.
I hope they make a well!!!
Hopefully the lost circulation was when they were shallow and they didn't pump a bunch of mud into the target formation and screw up the formation.
Do you think they screwed up the formation?
Does Jack Blake's cypherin' make sense to ya'll that know about drilling?

RR, Did you hear what kind of other problems.....problems with the rig or problems with the well? Please provide as much specific info. as possible. Jack Blake can be a quick study with all this possible $$$ involved.

Baron, Please explain to Jack Blake exactly why it is "bad"...........

Jack Blake appreciates ya'lls responses............This well could mean an extra paycheck for Jack and then he can buy his kids some new shoes.

LONG LIVE MATTHEW MURRAY #21 CRIED JACK BLAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jack. I wouldn't worry about this lost circulation incident. There wouldn't be any formation damage to the HA zone and at a worse case scenario, the operator plugs and abandons this well and moves over and drills another to replace it. One of the many risks, and costs, of being an operator or working interest and one of the advantages of being a royalty interest.
Thanks for the reply..............Jack feels better now:)
