I was wanting to know how or where i need to look to go about finding out what section and all of that i am in?. All i have is what is stated on my deed which is the lot number and such.

I got the following info from "bluefame", it was most helpful to me:

can get it from the Tax Assessors office, they will make you a copy for just a couple of dollars.

If you have your last Homestead Exemption Receipt, the first six digits at the top of the card give you the same information.

Example....181406= Township 18- Range 14- Section 6.
you should be able to get those first six numbers from your account number where you pay your assessement taxes

My #starts out 181404 so I'm section 4 is this right?...I love this website as I am out of state.
you can also get it on-line at www.caddoassessor.org
Just enter your street number and street name.
1st set of numbers[Township] is always North or South

2nd set [Range] is East or West and then the Section number
