DI. I hate to ask, but which Local Paper? The Times or The Inquisitor? If it's The Times, then I missed it. If it's the Inquisitor, well, no comment. It's really a shame when "useless info" could easily apply to both.
Thanks for sharing the info, regardless of what "useless" paper it comes from.
at this point in time.......$5000 / 25 %...........looks pretty good.

Lets wait & see what 2010 looks like.
Has anyone else in the area got an offer lately? and if so from who and how much, It appears to me that if you lease to one of the smaller operators your chances of actually having a well dug on your property are much more likely.
Which company made this lease??
Chesapeak
Where is the property located that was leased by the town of Blanchard?
I dont remeber It was about 4 papers ago
N2 C C, If you wish to conduct a search for the article, here's a link. Good Luck.

Have there been any offers to lease property in the town of Blanchard?
I live out of state but still own property in the town of Blanchard, I try to read the Shreveport times on-line to stay updated - no updates lately.
I have not received any offers to lease my mineral rights on my property in the town of Blanchard.
Anna. I am unaware of any current leasing activity in the vicinity of Blanchard. There is some leasing further east along the Red River (Dixie-Belcher area) that does not appear to be Haynesville Shale related.
Anna, at about the time of this original posting we were contacted by a landman, representing EXCO. We have not leased as of this (FEB) date. We made a counter to the offer. As a family we are holding fast and I would suppose that EXCO is doing the same. So the ball is in their court. We have no really apprehension given that any lease is "found money" and the minerals remain under the farm.

I don't think I want to put the terms that were discussed into this post. We are in S22 - 18N - 16W (Longwood)
