I was contacted briefly in Early Dec, with no contact until last week by guy from "Ax Energy". Anyone else received any offers?
Thanks

Any opinions if this relates to APC play north of here?

I'm in section 24 of Caddo 19N, 15W and have not received any offers or contact.

AX Energy is a recently formed corporation out of Lafayette, home of many land companies.  This is the first mention of them in the Anadarko (APC) Haynesville lease area of which I am aware.  The base lease offer in this area is $500 per net mineral acre and a 9/40ths. (22.5%) royalty.  I suggest that mineral owners not accept less.  I also remind them that the bonus and royalty though important are just a portion of the lease terms.  Standard horizontal and vertical Pugh clauses should be included as a minimum.  Additional beneficial lease clauses will be a function of location and size of mineral interest.

We need to say our prayers that these risk takers in northerly tracts are very successful!
Hi everyone, I have minerals in S 17 T 18N R 15W in Caddo near Blanchard. I was just offered $500 and 20% to lease. Anyone else in this area had offers? Trying to get a feel for market value. Thx, Robert

I just got a message on my phone from a guy from AX Energy.  Waiting for him to call me back.  Will post any info.

rhonda, please share your general location.  Section-township-range would be helpful.

Thanks, rhonda.  I'm sure members in the Blanchard area will appreciate the heads up.

Ax just upped offer to $500 and 22 1/2 %
S 17 T 18N R 15W

Yesterday I saw an April 2013 offer in the database for $850 and 24% but it didn't say what part of Caddo.

rhonda, if there is a tract in the April auction for $850 and 24%, I failed to find it.  Can you give me the tract number.  Tract 43186 in the April 2013 state mineral auction received a bid of $1000 per acre and a 25% royalty from Classic Petroleum bidding on behalf of Chesapeake.  The tract is in S34-17N-14W, inside city limits near the regional airport.  However that tract and that bid are not associated with the Anadarko liquids play emerging in north Caddo Parish.
