What's a good indication that a company is a "flipper" vs. legit rep for an O&G company?
Being registered with the state is one. The corporation should be in "Good Standing". Also the date the corporation was registered is another. I'd prefer for the date of registration be prior to the public announcements of the Haynesville Shale in Spring of 2008. Forget the fear of flipping. Many leases change hands numerous times throughout their productive life. That's the nature of the business. Lessors need to get the lease terms that are important to them with the thought in mind that any operator(s) will have to live up to the terms of that lease. The future value of minerals is protected by good clauses; vertical and horizontal Pugh, No Cost Royalty, No Surface Use, etc. A mineral owner who does their homework and has a professional review their lease should feel confident in executing that lease. And by professional I'm talking about an experienced O&G attorney. Not those whose practice did not include O&G related work prior to Spring 2008.

Where is your acreage, I thought they had left the area? That is the company that "worked over" South Arkansas and left. They usually start with a low offer, then will go up if you ask.
Union Parish close to Lillie.
Anyone heard of Lunar Resources?
I haven't BLO. Did you get an offer from them?
YES! You might know them as Border Exploration!! Todd schoffler and his brother are the owners!!
Allen, is Border Exploration the company name that Schoeffler uses in AR.? Or is it Lunar Resources? Or both?
I'm really curious if they are back in Arkansas. Has anybody heard this?
Yes , Border Exploration is the one they used in Arkansas. I forget what Todds brothers name is. I dont know about Lunar resources. I wonder if their dealings with E.O.G. are over and they arent using the title Border Exploration any more!
