There were a couple of meetings tonight. One at the old BPCC, and I think one at Asbury. Anybody care to chime in that attended? I was at home with my toddler and would love to know anything new discussed.

My husband went to the one at Airline Baptist Church for Greenacres Place and surrounding neighborhoods. Their group basically includes anyone from the city limits all the one to Texas Street (both residents and businesses). Letters of intent are being signed and presented to Twin Citites and they should be receiving their first offer by Sept 1st. We've also gone to a meeting held at a Baptist Church on Brownlee and Benton but my husband thought this meeting sounded morning legit and organized. Have you joined a group?
I believe that Green Acres is negotiating with different companies, I don't think they are handing these letters over to Twin Cities. I will find out.
Twin Cities/Chesapeake is only one of several companies that Greeacres Place Mineral Alliance is collecting Letters of Intent to negotiate with.
can residents of lakewood or rosedale..........or any bossier city neighborhood join the Greenacres Place group?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
