I own property in Plain Dealing; however, I do not live there.

Does anyone know if there is any activity in Plain Dealing? If not, is there any anticipated activity in that area?

Probably doesn't involve HS but Berkshire O&G will be conducting a 3D survey east of PD in the Mott area which covers a 13 sq. mile area.
Brenda. The Haynesville formation is sand, not shale, in the area of Plain Dealing. The Haynesville Sand has made a lot of good wells over the years and there are still quite a few producing. No telling what the 3D survey mentioned by inthestix is targeting but most of the recent activity along the AR. border seems to be Smackover related.
There is activity in Sec.23, tn.22N, r.13W SE of p. d.....Leasing down to 5000 ft....Murvaul Operating

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
