SWN has a good map of the play in general on their web site, under the company presentation link. So far, the last couple of wells shown on this map hold the most hope, but nothing has been said by anybody to call a good area or not.
The area is pretty large. The "inside" scoop I have is that they are not developing the fractures as well as they like and the formations are very "tite"... in the "inside" companies, they are concerned if it will be economic until oil hits $120 or more.
On a more optimistic note, I hear a few companies are looking in the region at other formations. Very hush hush though,
Thanks North LA, bpm, and Lerret for your replies. And yes Lerret, I hope you are right!
I just noticed on the map the notation "TA'd" by the Roberson well. What does that stand for?
I guess that's better than PA (Permanently Abandoned).
