SWN said they targeted to lower third of the bd with the roberson and the upper third with the Garret. The Garret supposedly had better perm and a better oil show.

We'll probably need to see the first full month production to know how the flow has improved.  The Initial Production Report will probably be for the 103 BOPD mentioned by Mueller. I'm sure both reports will appear here when available.

Additional documentation was filed on the Roberson well with the AOGC on 7/24/12.  Go to the following link and select Document Imaging System and enter 45015 for the well number.  There are three new items: letter from AOGC to Southwestern Energy,  the frac report, and notice of commencement of production (no production numbers).

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
