Skip, It looks like the permit is for Bayou De Loutre Field and mentions the Manville 13-10 # 1 well in Section 13, Township 21N, Range 1W but the map makes it appear to indicate the unit is in Township 23N where Bayou De Loutre is actually located. Can you clarify where they are actually planning on forming the unit?

The unit application (it's not a well permit) is for Sections 1 & 12 - 23N - 2W.  Every unit application must define by depth the formation or zone requested for compulsory unitization.  This is accomplished by in effect saying, it's the same depths as those in well X.  A reference well is an existing well to the proper depth having an electric log on file with the state that is relatively close to the proposed unit.  There are few historic penetrations of the L SMK because it is so deep and was not considered productive.  For that reason SWN has to cite wells for depth reference that are quite distant from the location of their proposed unit.

I attended the pre-application meeting in Monroe last week.  SWN plans to drill in this unit late this year or early next.

As your alter-ego - axehead?  LOL!
