The LBCH 33 H #1 was reported by Energy Drilling to be drilling at 6919' as of 7/18/14.
Thanks for the update, obed. I am changing the discussion title to include the LBCH 33H #1.
The latest report shows the LBCH 33 H #1 drilling ahead at 9233' as of 7/25/2013. This looks like good progress and is only about 1900' from the proposed final measured depth of 11141'.
Energy Drilling reports the LBCH 33 H #1 "at TD'' of 10230' as of 8/01/14. As of yesterday, SONRIS Lite had not even reported the spudding of this well!
That's par for the course. The one thing that SONRIS Lite doesn't do well is tracking drilling in a timely fashion. IMO it's largely because operators do not report to state regulators like drilling contractors report to rig tracking companies. And that's why it's important to combine a weekly rig report subscription with the data on SONRIS to get a more complete view of development activity. Thanks for the update, obed.
Its my understanding that the LBCH 33 H #1 came in around 25bbls of oil per day and is still at that rate. Anyone else heard the production?
bill
Bill, I haven't heard anything except that the SONRIS state database shows the allowable for the LBCH 33 H #1 for the period from 11/26/14 to 2/26/2015 to be zero and the potential to also be zero. They haven't reported the results of any tests or any actual production, and the last Scout Report, dated 8/8/2014, said they had set 4 1/2-inch casing to 10230 feet.

SONRIS Lite reported on 1/23/15 that the LBCH was completed on 11/26/14 as follows:
COMPLETED 11/26/14; OIL; PETTIT; 15 BOPD; 40 GVTY; PERF 7040-10092' MD;373 BWPD
I would think these results were disappointing, but maybe they can improve them in the future.

The SONRIS Work Resume indicates that the LBCH 33 H #1 was perforated and fracked in 8 stages and acidized with 10000 gallons of 15% hydrochloric acid.

The SONRIS completion report shows the well is being pumped.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
