Indigo recently permitted two wells in Lincoln Parish. These are the first permits in Lincoln in quite a while.

240395 CV RA SUCC Madden 21, Sec. 21, T18N-R4W, 11,500', West Simsboro Field
240422 Thompson 3, Sec. 3, T17N-R4W, 11,500', Simsboro Field

The Thompson well is in the old Simsboro Field south of Simsboro. It is the first well for Indigo to drill on the acreage they recently acquired from CHK. Good results on this well would probably generate more drilling in that area.

They have a nice drilling program going in this area. Thanks for posting.
Indigo has had a rig running on the Thompson 3 well for about two weeks or more. Nothing has been posted on Sonris regarding this. I hear that a couple of other companies are leasing in this area, I'm sure they are betting on Indigos recent sucess in the West Simsboro/Ruston Fields.

Also the rig has been running on the Larue Well, Section 12, T18N-R4W, for about a week now.

Good to see Indigo running two rigs again in Lincoln Parish, and I think if they have good results they will keep them busy.
Not yet. We have an interest in this well, I drove by earlier and they're still working on the pad. If the rain holds off it looks like they'll have it ready by today or tomorrow.
Hi Mr. Cobb,
Which well are you referring to? Where are they working on the pad?
Thanks
The Indigo - Thompson well in section 3, Simsboro Field.
I wonder what well that rig is on just north of Monday Road. Would you happen to know?
The Thompson Well is just north of Mondy Rd. Not sure where you 're getting your info, but I drove out to the pad today and they don't even have the surface hole staked yet. Actually, the pad is not finished, the only thing left now is spreading the rock. There may be a workover rig in the area but I didn't see any drilling rigs.
Thanks for the info Mr. Cobb. I will pass by the area today and correct any misinformation I have posted. It could have been a workover rig I saw, I guess I didn't pay close enough attention. By the way, I get my info in the Lincoln Parish area by riding by and looking.

By the way, the surface location has been staked or they could not have obtained a permit. The survey plat has to be attached to the permit application, and it states the footage from two section lines to the location. Otherwise they would not know where to build the location.
I guess the dozer was in the way, I just didn't see the hole location yesterday. I know one thing it's a big pad, bigger than the ones Chesapeake built when they had the field.
Drove by yesterday, they're setting up the rig at the Thompson Sec.3 Well location.
The rig has moved from the Thompson Well site and they were filling in the pit as I drove by 3 days ago. Not sure when it will be frac-ed, hopefully it's a good one!!
